National Champion '26Guransh Singh
He didn't stop after the contest. In 2026 he secured the 1st position nationally in Innopreneurs Junior Season 12, competing against thousands of young innovators.
Taken from home, judged like a hall exam. Here is exactly how we make an online olympiad something a school, a parent and a participant can all trust.
Every participant sits the same Innovation Olympiad exam under the same conditions, on their booked schedule, on a server-run timer that does not stop if their internet does.
A face scan taken at registration confirms the registered participant is the one sitting the Innovation Olympiad exam, so a rank belongs to the person who earned it.
Innovation Olympiad exams flagged during the exam are reviewed by a person, with written reasons, before anything is concluded. Nothing is decided by the computer alone.
No warnings pile up mid-exam and no video is ever recorded. Analysis runs inside the participant’s own browser, only the events leave the device.
We don't test what participants memorise. We measure how they think, create and solve.
Become Future Ready. Discover your potential beyond academics by developing the mindset, skills and awareness to innovate, solve real-world problems and confidently shape the future of India and the world.
Innovation has no syllabus because the future has no question paper. The Bharat Innovation Olympiad reflects this belief by moving beyond conventional examinations that reward memorisation. Instead, it assesses curiosity, creativity, adaptability and real-world thinking — preparing participants not just for the next exam, but for the next decade.
Conceived by Lemon Ideas, an entrepreneurship ecosystem with over 12+ years of experience nurturing innovators, entrepreneurs and changemakers across India, the Olympiad bridges the gap between classroom learning and the capabilities needed to thrive in an uncertain, technology-driven and rapidly evolving world.
Built on the strong foundation of Innopreneurs, Lemon Ideas' flagship innovation and entrepreneurship movement, the Bharat Innovation Olympiad is far more than another Olympiad — it is the beginning of a lifelong innovation ecosystem. It provides students from Grades 6 to 12 with a unique opportunity to assess themselves across five future-focused dimensions: Entrepreneurship Mindset, Problem Solving & Innovation, Emerging Technologies & Digital Readiness, Future Readiness & Global Awareness, and Financial Readiness. Through a balanced mix of knowledge-based, situational and future-oriented questions, students are encouraged to think critically, solve authentic problems, make responsible decisions and develop the confidence to embrace change.
What truly distinguishes the Bharat Innovation Olympiad is its purpose of creating future-ready citizens, not just high scorers. It serves as a gateway to innovation challenges, entrepreneurial journeys, mentorship opportunities, school innovation initiatives and the larger Innopreneurs community. Closely aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, the Olympiad inspires young minds to become innovators, creators and responsible leaders who can shape India's future with courage, compassion and creativity.
“Since 2013, Lemon Ideas has worked to nurture entrepreneurial thinking and innovation across India & beyond. Our journey with young minds through Junior Innopreneurs reinforced a simple belief — every child has the potential to become a creator of change when equipped with the right mindset and opportunities. The Bharat Innovation Olympiad is our invitation to every child to discover their potential, become future-ready, and help build a confident, innovative and developed India by 2047.”
Every participant is assessed across five future-focused dimensions, the same five sections that make up the Innovation Olympiad exam.
Entrepreneurship is not just about starting a business — it is a way of thinking. This dimension develops the ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, solve problems creatively and make responsible decisions. Students build an entrepreneurial mindset through concepts such as customer empathy, teamwork, planning, resource management, ethics and business awareness, empowering them to become creators of opportunities rather than seekers of opportunities.
Innovation begins with understanding problems that matter. This dimension encourages students to observe the world around them, think creatively, explore multiple solutions and validate ideas through experimentation. Drawing upon design thinking, adaptability, ethical decision-making and evidence-based reasoning, it nurtures the confidence to transform ideas into meaningful innovations that create positive impact.
The future belongs to those who understand and responsibly use technology. Beginning with strong STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) foundations, this dimension introduces students to computational thinking, coding logic, robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and cybersecurity. It further expands their horizons to frontier technologies such as space technology, biotechnology, quantum computing and advanced digital systems, preparing them to become informed creators and responsible users of tomorrow's technologies.
Preparing for the future requires more than academic knowledge — it demands adaptability, lifelong learning and global awareness. This dimension develops students' understanding of future careers, sustainability, climate action, health and well-being, and the interconnected world through the lens of global challenges and opportunities. It also inspires them to contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, encouraging every learner to see themselves as an active participant in building a developed, innovative and globally respected India.
Financial literacy is an essential life skill in an increasingly connected world. This dimension helps students understand money management, saving, investing, budgeting and responsible financial decision-making while introducing them to digital banking, UPI, financial safety and cyber awareness. It also broadens their perspective by building awareness of the global economy, international trade, world currencies and the role of financial systems in shaping prosperous individuals, businesses and nations.
